थिओमेथॉक्सम 25% डब्ल्यूजी व्यापक स्पेक्ट्रम प्रणालीगत कीटनाशक है जिसमें “त्वरित पेट और संपर्क गतिविधि” होती है और इसका उपयोग स्टेम बोरर गैल मिज लीफ फोल्डर ब्राउन प्लान्ट हॉपर (बीपीएच) व्हाइट बैकड प्लांट हॉपर (डब्ल्यूबीपीएच) चावल में ग्रीन लीफ हूपर (जीएलएच) एफ़ाइड जसीड थ्रिप्स और व्हाइटफ़ली कपास में और अन्य फसलों में नियंत्रित हेतु किया जाता है।
एक प्रणालीगत कीटनाशक होने के नाते प्रवणता के प्रारंभिक चरण में अनुशंसित खुराक पर लागू किया जाना चाहिए। लंबे समय में प्रतिरोध समस्या से बचने के लिए कीटनाशकों के अन्य समूह के साथ वैकल्पिक होने के लिए सलाह दी जाती है।
प्रयोग मात्रा: 100-250 ग्राम प्रति हेक्टेयर।
Precautions:
- Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuffs containers and animal’s food.
- Avoid contact with mouth,eyes and skin.
- Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
- Wash thoroughly the contaminated cloth and parts of the body after spraying.
- Do not smoke, drink, eat & chew anything while spraying.
- Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Thiomethoxam 25% WG is broad spectrum systemic insecticide having quick stomach and contact activity and is recommended for its use to control Stem Borer, Gall Midge, Leaf Folder, Brown plant hopper, (BPH), White Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH), Green Leaf Hopper (GLH) in rice, Aphids, Jassids, Thrips and whiteflies in Cotton & Other Crops.
Being a systemic insecticide should be applied at recommended dose at initial stage of infestation. It is advisable to alternate with other group of insecticides to avoid resistance problem in long run.
